T. Wangdi Sherpa, M.D.
Family Doctor
Dr. Sherpa was originally from the foothills of the Himalayas, Nepal. He completed his medical school training at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1993. He then finished his residency at Underwood Memorial Hospital in New Jersey where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Sherpa has been serving patients at Myerstown Family Practice since 1998. He speaks Sherpa, Nepali, Hindi (indian language), Tibetan, English and he also can converse in Spanish. On his days off Dr. Sherpa enjoys running marathons, riding bicycle for different fundraising events and travelling to different parts of the world and spending quality time with his family.
Sonam Sherpa, D.O.
Family Doctor
Dr. Sonam Sherpa was born in Boise, Idaho, but shortly moved to Lebanon, PA which he has called home for over 20 years. He is a true local to the community who attended both Cedar Crest High School and then Lebanon Valley College. He left for medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, but quickly returned to complete his residency training at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital where he served as chief resident. In his free time Dr. Sherpa enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking as well as spending time with his wife and goldendoodle Oscar. Dr. Sonam Sherpa is excited to join the Myerstown Family Practice family and to give back to the community that helped raise him.
Thomas Frey, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Mr. Frey was born and raised in Lebanon County. After he graduated from Lebanon High School, he attended DeSales University, Center Valley (Lehigh Valley) PA and received his Bachelor degree in 2003 and finished his Physician Assistant training in 2004. He worked as a Physician assistant in Pottstown with a Orthopedic group for a year . In 2005, he joined Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency room Group and he worked there over 8 plus years. Myerstown Family is happy and proud to have him as part of our family since 2014. On his days off, he enjoys art works and spending quality time with his young family.
